Our Category B training programme is intended for those who wish to obtain the right to drive a passenger car.

According to Estonian legislation, to obtain Category B, a student must be at least 16 years old.

The theory course can be completed either in the classroom or independently through the app. The creators of the application have also participated in developing the official state exam questions. Completing the theory through the app is available to you at a time that suits you best and can be used regardless of your location.

You will also be given access to tests and mock exams. With their help, you can prepare for the exam as thoroughly as possible.

Our driving instructors regularly participate in state driving exams and are highly competent in preparation. They also possess all the necessary skills and knowledge to teach you to drive safely.

How long does the training take?

On average, the Category B course takes about 2 months.

Can I pay in installments?

Yes, the theory course is paid first, then driving lessons and additional courses are paid as you progress.

In which languages is the training available?

Training is available in Estonian, Russian, and English.

Can I start training without a medical certificate?

Theory

Where does the theory take place?

Theory is conducted on the Liikluslab online platform or in a classroom.

When do I get access to online learning?

Access to online learning is granted immediately after payment and sent to your email.

What if I miss a lecture?

All lectures are recorded and can be watched later.

When can I register for the theory exam?

After completing 100% of the material and successfully passing mock exams. After three consecutive successful mock exams, the option to register for the exam opens automatically.

Driving

What is the minimum number of driving lessons required?

The basic course includes 26 academic hours (13 sessions of 1.5 hours each).

Do I need to complete the theory before starting driving lessons?

No, you can start driving in parallel with theory. However, we recommend completing at least the first four topics (up to and including the chapter “Basic road signs”) before your first lesson.

How do I book driving lessons?

You need to contact the instructor directly after we assign one to you and agree on a schedule.

Can I change my instructor?

Yes, this is completely normal. You can change your instructor if your schedules don’t match, if you prefer a specific instructor, want to try a different car, or train with another instructor.

When can I register for a first aid course?

Immediately after receiving access to training.

When can I register for slippery driving and night driving? Do I need to complete all 26 driving lessons first?

You can register once your driving skills allow you to operate a vehicle independently without assistance. It is not required to complete all 26 lessons beforehand, but we recommend confirming this with your instructor.
